Ethanol
Ethanol is the most widely used renewable bio-fuel today. Lifeline’s ethanol process converts the softer endosperm of the corn kernel into ethanol through fermentation. Lifeline’s ethanol plant has a design capacity to produce 50 million gallons per year of fuel-grade ethanol.
Why Choose Ethanol?
Distiller’s Grains (DDGS)
DDGS are co products that are produced when the fermented product is dehydrated and dried. LifeLine’s distillers grains are unique due to the enhanced milling process that removes the bran and germ before fermentation. The end result is a higher quality product with less fiber and oil and a higher concentration of proteins.
Corn Germ
Corn Germ is a co product that is produced when the milling operation separates it from the available starches. The germ is ready to further process in an oil expelling operation. Corn oil is a healthier alternative to soybean oil with fried food products.
