Bin Complex Operator

Primary Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for the loading of outbound packaged and bulk products, unloading of ingredients, and package materials and transferring of product to various bins to support plant operations. In addition, this position will perform manual and mechanical palletization of product.

Responsibilities:

  • Safe and efficient use of fork truck to load finished product and unload supplies.
  • Load bulk cars and trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Transfer product to other plant operating systems in plant.
  • Perform quality checks as necessary.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately to comply with HACCP, traceability, FS, and quality requirements.
  • Assure appropriate pallet patterns are maintained for finished product
  • Maintain excellent position in regards to GMP.
  • Follow appropriate guidelines in regards to sampling.
  • Follow guidelines for trailer and bulk car inspection, preparing, and sealing.
  • Spot and switch cars and trailers as needed.
  • Inventory bin levels as needed.
  • Housekeeping responsibilities shall be maintained in all areas.
  • Operate conveying systems for finished product.
  • Adhere to the Lifeline Foods Code of Team Behavior. In that regard, this position will be expected to perform duties outside the key responsibilities
  • Responsible for food safety and quality.

Minimum Requirements: High School education or equivalent is required, 18 years of age or older, previous shipping and loading experience preferred.

Shift Hours: 12-hour night shifts.
